Data you can export and download data records from Makerble

Contacts

You can download

  • Tables of contacts

  • Information about a single contact

Download tables of contacts

You can download your contacts. The contacts included in your download will be the contacts that match the criteria you have set using the Contact Filters.

Download the Overview table

What the spreadsheet will contain

The Overview table is the first page you arrive on within the Contacts App. It contains the default columns:

  • Full Name

  • Type of contact

  • Date joined organisation

  • User who added the contact to the organisation

  • Projects the contact is currently part of

  • Groups the contact is currently part of

  • Date the contact was most recently tagged in a story (interaction)

  • Date the contact was first tagged in a story (interaction)

Steps

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Contacts

  3. You arrive in the Contacts App

  4. Select More Options

  5. Select Download as CSV

Download the Details table

What the spreadsheet will contain

  • You can export the content of each of the main tabs on the Contacts page by clicking the More Options and selecting Download as csv.

Download the Progress Trackers tab

  • You can export the content by clicking the More Options and selecting Download as csv.

Download a Custom Table

If you have created a Custom Table, you can download the contents of that table

  • You can export the content by clicking the More Options and selecting Download as csv.

Download information about a single contact

  • You can export a PDF of a single contact’s record by going to their Contact Profile Page and selecting the Print PDF button

Download demographic and characteristics charts - from the Demographics or Compare Demographics tab

  • Every chart can be downloaded as an image.

  • Click the three line “burger menu” to access the download options: PNG, JPG and PDF

  • If you want to rebuild the charts yourself in spreadsheet software, you can

    • switch to Table view

    • use Drag-&-Drop to select the contents of the table

    • press CTRL+C on Microsoft Windows (CMD+C on Apple Mac) to copy the table

    • open your spreadsheet software

    • press CTRL+V on Microsoft Windows (CMD+V on Apple Mac) to paste in the table

Download productivity charts - from the Productivity tab

  • Every chart can be downloaded as an image.

Cases

Download the Caseload table

You can download the details of every case on your platform

Steps

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Cases

  3. You arrive on the Manage Cases page

  4. Press Download

  5. This will download the table. It contains:

    1. a row for each case

    2. a column for each field used in your Case Forms

Download charts relating to cases

Events

Event information

You can download a table containing information about your events, e.g. name, start time, end time, etc.

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Events

  3. You arrive on the Manage Events page

  4. Select Download

  5. Your download is saved as a csv file

Event Attendance figures

You can download attendance figures for your events. The information is presented as a csv file.

Steps

  1. Select My Apps

  2. Select Events

  3. Select Attendance

  4. Use the People filters to choose which guests you want to see attendance information for

  5. Use the Event filters to choose which events you want to see attendance information for

  6. Press Download to download the table

Fields per Contact Form

You can download a table that shows the fields used in each Contact Form. The table contains:

  • a column for each field

  • a row for each Contact Form

This table can serve as a template when you are importing contacts because it has a column for each field that data can be imported into

Steps

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Contact Forms

  3. Select Field view

  4. You arrive on the Fields per Contact Form page

  5. Press the Download button

  6. Your download is saved as a csv file

Original import files

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Imports

  3. Press the Download button next to the original file you want to download.

Surveys

You can only download survey responses for a single Master Survey at a time. But the download can include

  • multiple responses per contact (e.g. their Before and After responses)

  • responses from across multiple projects (if multiple projects are using that same Master Survey)

Download responses

When on the Analyse tab of a Survey Campaign page (or on the Survey Analytics page having selected the survey and a project), the Download Responses button appears that lets you download responses as a csv file

Download verdicts

If your survey has survey scores and verdicts enabled, you can download those as well.

  • On the Survey Campaign page, select the Verdicts tab

  • Press the Download button

  • Your download is saved as a csv file

Timesheets

You can download your timesheets.

Steps

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Timesheets

  3. You arrive on the Manage Timesheets page

  4. Click the Download button

  5. You can save your download as a CSV file
