There are four parts to setting up survey verdicts.

Steps
Go to the Edit Survey page of the survey you want to calculate verdicts for (or stay on the Create Survey page if you are continuing from Part 2 and you have not yet pressed Save)
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Press the text that says Advanced to open the Advanced Settings section
In the Formula section, press the Add Component button
This causes a popup to load
Within the popup: select Number
Then enter '1'
Then press Save in the popup
The popup closes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and press Save
You arrive on the Survey Template page
On the left of the Survey Template page is the Formula box. Click the Edit button
A popup appears. Press the Add coefficient button
Select the first dropdown list
Start the formula with a Number or an Indicator (an Indicator is a Multiple Choice question [progress tracker])
Based on the option you choose in the first dropdown, the option on the right side will update accordingly to allow you to
Select a mathematical symbol: Plus, Minus, Multiply, Divide
Select a multiple choice question
Enter a number
Press the Add coefficient button again to enter the next part of your formula
When you have finished adding the formula, press Save in the popup
The popup closes
The formula that you have added is now displayed within the Formula box on the left of the Survey Template page
