Skills allow you to state the handling requirements of your contacts.

  • For example,

    • if you have a contact (client) who has autism and needs someone who is autism trained to work with them, you can

      • add Autism Training as a Skill Required by the contact

      • and as a Skill Possessed by your team members who have had that training.

Getting started with skills

Enable skills on the Organisation Preferences page

  • Tick the Enable Skills option

Create and update a bank of skills

  • Go to your organisation’s Skills page https://www.makerble.com/charities/741/skills - replace the number 741 with the ID number of your organisation

  • Press the New Skill button to add a new skill

  • Press the Edit or Delete button to amend existing skills

Add skills required to a contact

  • Go to the Contact’s profile page

  • On the left panel is a new section called Skills

  • It allows you to add a new Skill Required to that Contact

  • You can add as many skills as have been created
