Movement between audiences (formerly Roles) that contacts had at the time

this chart only detects when a contact started as an audience during a month that they were already in another role of an audience.

Movement between audience (formerly Roles) that contacts ever had

this chart counts the number of contacts who either previously had or currently have an audience, who have then been assigned another audience

Audiences (formerly Roles) had

this chart shows the number of contacts who had that audience in that month

Audiences (formerly Roles) started

this chart shows the number of contacts who started that audience in that month

Audiences (formerly Roles) ended

this chart shows the number of contacts who ended that audience in that month

Custom charts

You can create your own Audience (formerly Roles) Movement charts that only include movements between the audiences you specify.

  • These custom charts will also appear on the Productivity tab of the Contacts App.

  • They will exist as a pair;

    • an ‘at the time’ version

    • and an ‘ever had’ version.

Steps to view the charts

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. A ribbon of Apps appears

  3. Select Contacts

  4. You arrive in the Contacts App

  5. Select the Productivity tab

Access the Movement Charts

These two charts appear on the Productivity tab

Ways to use the charts

  • Use the Chart / Table toggle to view the table instead of seeing the chart

  • In Table view: click a blue number to see the names of the contacts whose Audience data is contributing to that number

  • The key displays a colour for each Audience (or each type of Movement between Audiences)

    • Select a colour in the key to hide that particular Audience (or type of Audience movement)

    • Select the colour in the key again in order to show it

    • Place your mouse over a colour in the key to focus the chart on that particular Audience (or type of movement between Audiences)

  • Press the 3 line ‘burger menu’ in the top right corner of each chart box. You will see options to:

    • View the chart in full screen

    • Download the chart
