You can change a Tip’s privacy level. The main options are:

Select My Apps in the top menu
Select Tips
You arrive on the Manage Tips page where you can see Tips you’ve created and Tips you like
Click the Action button next to a Tip
A dropdown menu appears
Select Edit
You arrive on the Edit Tip page
Click Advanced to access the privacy controls
Scroll down to the Privacy level section
Open the dropdown list to change the Tip’s privacy
Select the desired option
Press Save
