Once you have turned on Email Messaging, your organisation has a Makerble Email Address.

Receive emails from your contacts

Note: to receive emails from your contacts, you must first save their email address within a designated Email Address field.

  • You can designate fields to be Email Address fields when you are on the Organisation Preferences page.

  • If you anticipate your contacts having multiple email addresses, you should designate multiple fields as Email Address fields.

Note: if a contact has multiple email addresses, they will have a separate Conversations tab for each of their email addresses.

There are two ways that one of your contacts can email your organisation's Makerble email address

  1. By emailing the Email Address directly

  2. By replying to an email that you have sent them

When the contact emails your organisation's Makerble Email Address directly

When one of your Makerble contacts whose email address you have stored in a compatible email field sends a message to your organisation's Makerble Email Address, that email will be saved within Makerble and appear in the Email Conversations tab of that contact.

When the contact replies to an email that your organisation has sent them

If your organisation has sent one of your contacts an email via Makerble, then when the contact replies to that email, the email will be saved in Makerble and will appear in the Email Conversations tab for that contact.
