Create an Achievement Tracker (Binary Indicator)
Achievement Trackers (Binary Indicators) are used to track one-off achievements
For example, a common Achievement Tracker (Binary Indicator) is:
Found a new job
Achievement Trackers (Binary Indicators) cannot be added to a project unless they are part of an Outcome
To create a new Achievement Tracker (binary indicator)
Go to the Create Metric page. You can get there by
Clicking Create in the top menu
Then Select Show More Options
Then Select Tracker/Outcome in the expanded menu that appears to the side
You arrive on the Create metric page and the first tab is the Activity Tracker tab
Select the 4th tab: Achievement Tracker
Enter the name of the Achievement Tracker in the first field, e.g. “Found a new job”
In the outcome field: choose the outcome(s) you want to assign this indicative progress tracker to
Optionally open the Advanced section to
add a Cover Image → this is the photo that appears if the Tracker is shown on the Explore Progress Trackers page
Hide from other Organisations → tick this box if you do not want your Tracker to be available to other organisations to add to their own projects. The advantage of sharing Trackers between organisations is that it enables benchmarking to happen.
Rewrite as a survey question → if you add a Progress Tracker to a survey, you can express it differently. For example, for the Progress Tracker of “Found a new job”, when it appears in a survey you might want to phrase it as “Have you found a new job?”
Add custom icon → Makerble will automatically assign an icon to your Progress Tracker unless you upload an icon. This should be a small file and should be a graphic icon rather than a photograph. There are several places where a Tracker’s icon is displayed:
Progress box on the My Home page
