Analytics view of Progress Board
You can view, segment and filter data and see the results in a very proactive and easy way using the Analytics view of Progress Board.
You can easily switch between the questions (metrics) using the scroll-able carousel at the top.
Easily apply filters
Use the Split-By functionality to split the data based on contacts details and get more insights into the data.

How to access Analytics mode of a Progress Board
Select Impact in the Side Menu and choose Progress Boards
You arrive on the Manage Progress Boards page in Cards view. Switch to Rows to see a table.
Select the Progress Board you want to open
The Progress Board opens in Cards view
Click Display
Select Analytics from the dropdown menu
You are now on the Analytics page of the progress board that displays a tab for each progress tracker and survey question
From the legacy version
Go to the progress board page (Find a Progress Board )
Click on New Version button to see the new progress boards
Open the Display dropdown
Now select the Analytics option
You arrive on the Analytics View of progress board.
How to analyse results
A tab for every question and tracker
You can just select the tracker you want to see.
You can also use the Jump To option
Navigate between Progress Boards
Use the Switch Progress Board option to quickly switch between progress boards and jump from one board to another.
Click on the dropdown and select the Progress board you want to see.
Use a different mode: Cards, Comparison or Analytics
You can change the view of the progress board between Analytics, Cards and Comparison view using the Display option.
Each view provides a different way of looking at the data that you can use based on your requirement.
Use filters to focus your results
Select any of the filters from the left panel and click on Apply to filter the results. This will help you see data that you want to see. You can use the filter to factor out the results that you want to see and compare against other filters to get a sense of the composition of the data.
Use the Reset Button to reset the filters.
Segment results using Lenses
This split-by functionality is present in the right side of the page that you can use to see split the results based on contact details. This option splits the answers based on characteristics of contacts. The fields you used in your contact form can be used to split the answers in the chart to get a much deeper insights on the progress of the contacts and to check which demographics are inclined towards which option.
For example; if I have a field called gender in my contact form and want to know how the various genders have responded to the questions in the survey, I will split the chart using the gender field in the Split By tab present on the right side of the page. This will split the options in the chart based on all the genders and tell me which gender has selected which option in the survey.
Chart controls
Change the format: Bar chart, Pie chart or Table
You can change the format of the chart. You can choose from Bar Chart, Pie chart and Table option to see data in different format and check progress as you find suitable.
Broaden or narrow the range of information displayed
You can select what data you want to see in the chart using the Chart Data option. It allows you to see various types of such as the data for the first response of the contacts or across the whole project. Using this you can see data in various ways and get better insights.
Download your results
You can download the charts as well by clicking the Options Icon (
) and choosing the file type of the chart to download in. Once the file type is selected, the download will start automatically and will be saved in your downloads folder (or the destination folder that is selected)
Switch between Numbers and Percentages
You can see the data in various format by changing the Y axis of the charts. You can switch between percent and number format using this option. It is present above the chart. The options available are:
% of question responses: Percent based on the responses present
Number: Display results in numbers
% of project contacts: Percent based on number of contacts in project
Using these options you can easily see data and the progress and get required insights.
