Automation Criteria: time since joining a project and not yet completing a survey

Sometimes a contact is added to a project but then the user may forget to create a story/update about the newly added contact using a specific survey.

This automation criteria will allow you to

  • Create Automation (Alert Trigger) when a contact is added to a project but has not completed a survey.

  • Choose the project and the amount of time the contact has not completed the survey.

Steps

  1. On the Create Automation page, select which project this Automation should operate across from the drop-down list.

  2. In the Automation Criteria section, you will find three options, IF, IS, and THIS.

  3. In the If field, select “Amount of time since joining a project and not yet completing a survey” from the dropdown.

  4. Once you have selected the option, the Using, This, and Is fields will appear.

  5. In the Using field, select the survey to be completed by the contact added to the project from the dropdown. Only the surveys added to the project will appear in the drop-down list.

  6. In the Is field, select greater than or equal to OR lesser than or equal to from the dropdown depending on when you want the contact to complete the survey.

  7. In the This field, enter the amount of time.

  8. Now you can add Actions that will be done to contacts who have been added to a project but not yet completed a survey

  9. Once you are done, press Save.
