Automate adding a 360° perspective provider to a contact

You can create an automation that adds a 360° perspective provider to a contact.

Why use it?

  • 360° Surveys let you collect survey responses about a contact but which are collected from people who can observe or provide a different perspective on that contact’s progress.

  • These people are called perspective providers

  • If you don’t want to use the automation, you can manually add one or more perspective providers to a contact by going to the contact’s profile page.

  • But the purpose of this automation is to allow you to add perspective providers to a contact automatically based on someone’s relationship to that contact

Steps

Requirements:

  • You must choose a Relationship as the automation criteria.

  • If you don’t have any Relationship Types in your organisation, here’s how to create your first one.

  1. Select Create in the top menu

  2. Select Automation

  3. You arrive on the Automation page

  4. In the Criteria menu, scroll down or search for the Relationship Type you want to use

  5. Once you’ve chosen a Relationship Type, in the This field: choose the side of the relationship that will be used to identify the contact for whom this automation is run

  6. In the Automation Actions, select 360° Perspectives

  7. Decide which side of the relationship will provide the 360° perspective to the contact

  8. Then press Save

  9. That’s it. To see how many times your automation has run, go to the Automation Logs page.
