Filter contacts by Date Activity Happened

You can filter contacts by Date Activity Happened

What it does

  • This filter will identify contacts who have been tagged in a story or survey response which had a manually set Date Happened within the date fields you entered in the filter

Note that Date Happened is different to Date Posted.

  • Date posted is the date that the information was added to the Makerble database

  • Date happened is the manually set date when a coworker is backdating a story or survey response. If the Date Happened is not set manually, it is automatically set to be the Date Posted.

Steps

The Filter Contacts button is available on every tab of the Contacts app:

  • Overview (including Custom Tables),

  • Details,

  • Category Splits

  • Progress Trackers.

It is also available on selected other pages

  • Send survey to contacts

  • Progress Boards

  • Survey Analytics (limited options)

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Contacts

  3. You arrive in the Contacts App

  4. Press the Filter Contacts button

  5. The Filter Contacts Overlay appears on the right

  6. Scroll down to the Date Happened filter

  7. Select it

  8. Two date fields appear for From and To

  9. Enter the date range you want to filter the data by

  10. This will filter the contacts displayed to only those contacts who were tagged in a story (or survey response) that actually happened within that date range
