How the Quick Update popup works
The Quick Update Popup lets you create a story about a single metric (i.e. indicator or progress tracker).
You can either post a Quick Update from the Homepage or from a Progress Board.
Tour of the Quick Update popup
Component | What it does |
---|---|
States Filter | By default the Project Contacts box displays contacts in the Enrolled state. Use the filter to display contacts in the project’s Waiting List, Alumni or Declined state(s) |
Progress Tracker | The name and icon of the single Progress Tracker that progress is being logged towards in this story |
Progress from Tagged Contacts | This box displays the project’s contacts. You can log progress for one or more contacts by ticking their name. |
Add to the story | You can:
|
Select Project | When viewing an Album Card, you can select any one of the projects within the album, as long as the project uses this Progress Tracker. |
Total progress logged in the story | This is the sum of the progress from tagged contacts and the anonymous progress |
Anonymous Progress | Enter the amount of anonymous progress that you want to log towards this Progress Tracker. E.g. the number of attendees whose names are not in your database as project contacts. |
Categorise the Anonymous Progress | Optionally disaggregate the anonymous progress number according to characteristics, e.g. demographic fields such as Age Range, Gender, Ethnicity, etc. |
