Delete an event

You can delete an event that you are an Event Manager of.

How to delete a single event

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Events

  3. You arrive on the Manage Events page

  4. Use the Filters to find the event you are looking for

  5. Press the menu button in the Actions column

  6. A dropdown menu appears

  7. In the dropdown menu: select Delete

  8. A popup appears asking whether you to confirm deletion

  9. Confirm deletion

  10. The event is now deleted

How to delete a series of Recurring Events all at once

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Events

  3. You arrive on the Manage Events page

  4. To To identify the Master event:

    1. Click Filter Events to open the Event Filters

    2. In the Filters popup,

      1. select Type

      2. choose Master

      3. press Apply

    3. press Close to close the filters

  5. Identify the master event of the recurring series. This is typically the first event in the series.

  6. Click the 3 dots icon on the right side of the Master event

  7. A dropdown menu appears

  8. Press Delete

  9. A confirmation popup appears saying: Are you sure you want to delete the event?

  10. Press OK

  11. The system will now delete the Master event and the Recurring events linked to it

Background information

  • Although individual events from a recurring series can be modified and deleted even after they are saved, to delete all subsequent or recurring events from a master event at once you must delete the Master event.

  • This is because no changes can be made to a master event once it has been saved. The master event will have to be deleted and a new one created if any changes are needed.

  • Deleting the master event of a recurring series will remove all subsequent events associated with it.
