Events must be enabled on your project in order to create an event. How to enable events on a project.
Steps
Select Create in the top menu
Select Event
Select the Project that the event belongs to
Select the Event Category to use to create the event
Add the basic event fields:
Event name
Start date and time
End date and time
Press save
You arrive on the Event’s page
