You can get event guests to check themselves into your event using a shared device provided by you (e.g. a tablet) or using their own smartphone.

How it works in practice | You open the Self Check-In Page on the tablet You pass the tablet around to each guest Each guest finds their name, clicks their name and then completes the form to check-in to the event (i.e. log their attendance)
Once each guest is done, they pass on the tablet to the next person
