You can edit and delete existing Contact Flags

The term ‘Contact Flag’ applies to that type of flag existing on your platform.

  • When you 'delete a Contact Flag' you are removing that type of flag from your platform

  • When you add/assign a contact flag to a contact, you are enabling that flag on that contact

  • when you disable a contact flag on a contact, you are acting on that contact

This article relates to editing or deleting a Contact Flag at a global level rather than disabling a Contact Flag on a particular contact

Steps

  1. Go to the Contacts App

  2. Open the More Options menu

  3. Select Flags from the dropdown list

  4. You arrive on the Contact Flags page

  5. The Contacts with this flag column shows you the number of contacts that have had this flag added to their profile

  6. Next to each flag is an Actions button

  7. Click Actions to open the menu. The options are:

    1. Edit

    2. Delete

  8. Click Edit to edit a flag, i.e. change its Name or Colour

  9. Click Delete to delete a flag (this will remove it from any contacts that it has been applied to; and remove any record that it was applied in the first place)
