As a signed-in-user you can create a story (submit a survey response) that contains anonymous aggregate data. There are two ways to do this:
Add anonymous aggregate data alongside progress that is tagged to individual contacts
Only add anonymous aggregate data (i.e. do not display the option to tag progress to individual contacts)
Screenshot: Adding only anonymous aggregate data (i.e. no option to tag individual contacts)
An example of when you might choose to add Anonymous Progress
You are holding an event and use a poll within the event to get people’s responses
You don’t have people’s individual responses but you do know the number of people who provided a particular answer to each question
Using the Anonymous Aggregate mode you can enter the number of people who responded to each Answer Choice of each question
How to analyse results containing anonymous aggregate data
When analysing your survey results, you can switch between whether you want to see
Only the responses that were entered in Anonymous Aggregate mode
Only the responses from tagged contacts (i.e. when responses are recorded against individual contacts)
Both - combined results from both tagged contacts and anonymous aggregate data
