You can set targets for each metric (Progress Tracker) that is being used on each of your projects.
As an alternative to setting All Time Targets, you can turn on Deadlines which allow you to set targets that are linked to dates. You can then use the Table view when in Period mode on the Project page to see the progress within a specific period: See progress towards target on a project page
Only Project Managers and Organisation Admins are allowed to set targets.
Steps
You must add Progress Trackers to your project before you can add targets. Targets are attached to Progress Trackers.
Select My Apps from the top menu
Select Projects
You arrive on the My Projects page
Find the project that you want to set targets for
Select the More Options button for that project
Select Targets
You arrive on the project’s Targets page
You should only tick the Cumulative Annual and Cumulative All-Time tick boxes once you have saved your most recently added set of targets. (I.e. press save, then return to the Targets page and then tick the Cumulative tick boxes)
Set targets for each goal and sub goal
It is fine to set targets for some Progress Trackers and not others
Choose Add deadlines if you want to set Monthly or Quarterly targets.
You can choose the date of each Deadline and can therefore set custom deadlines for your targets
When setting targets for each Deadline, enter the actual figure for that ‘period’, rather than the cumulative figure. (This is because Makerble will automatically calculate the cumulative figure for that period)
A ‘period’ is the time between each deadline column
If for progress tracking purposes your year starts on a date other than 1st January, use the Year Start Date to pick an alternative date to base your year from
Press save
You return to the Project page
