These are survey campaigns that anyone can complete anonymously. links without being signed in and experience the survey completion process on Makerble:

Steps

  • Login to Makerble's staging site using your own account

  • Go to the Explore Surveys page - click Explore in top menu

  • Choose a survey

  • Click Add To Project and choose one of your projects

  • Click My Apps in the top menu and select My Surveys

  • Select your project from the dropdown list

  • Go to the Survey Campaign page: click the name of the survey you chose

  • Enable Anonymous Responses for your survey

  • Reload the page and generate the url

  • Use the url to create three stories in an Incognito Window (or a different web browser). Make sure you are not signed in when you do this and choose different answers each time you complete the survey.

  • Add that url to this card as a comment

  • Go to the Survey Analytics page

  • Select your survey

  • Select your project and view the survey results

  • Add a screenshot of your Survey Analytics page to this card as a comment

  • Go back to the Survey Campaign page

  • This time click the Send Personalised Survey Links option

  • In the middle column, add another one of your email addresses (not the one that you used to sign up to Makerble) and also add testingmakerble@gmail.com. Press the Add to Distribution list button

  • Tailor your message that goes to respondents

  • Press Send

  • You should receive an email with a link to the survey. Click it and complete the survey.

  • You decide whether you want to include a name field in your survey or not

  • If you don't include a Name survey, then your responses will likely be anonymous.

Note: Makerble has two options for allowing the respondents of a survey to remain anonymous:

  • Anonymous mode - whereby anyone with the link can complete the survey (described on this page)

  • Anonymised unique survey links sent to contacts (to use this option, follow these separate steps instead)

Steps to collect survey responses from anyone with the link

  1. Go to the Survey Campaign page and select Advanced layout

  2. You arrive in the Advanced layout

    1. Set Collect responses from anyone with the link to Enabled (pink arrow)

    2. This causes the Individual responses from anyone with the link button to become enabled (purple arrow)

  3. A Share link button now appears

  4. Click Copy the link

  5. You can then paste the link into an email, web page or any other form of text communication you want to use to invite people to complete the survey

  6. Now, you can also us Generate a QR Code for the universal survey link.

Collect the names of respondents

  • By default every survey response collected from anyone with the link will be linked to a new contact in your Makerble CRM (the Contacts App) called “Respondent 1”, “Respondent 2”, etc

  • If you want the name of the Respondent to be displayed instead of the generic “Respondent Number” title, just add the Respondent Name field to your survey

  • This feature is turned off by default. Follow these steps to turn it on.
