Do You can do a 2-stage import to import activities and then import contacts' engagement in those activities

  • Makerble does not give you the option to import Events directly from a CSV file (although you can achieve this with a customised integration)

  • If you have information in spreadsheets that relates to events activities you’ve run previously and people’s attendance at those eventsactivities you need to import that information in two stages

    • Stage 1: import stories that contain information about the eventsactivities. (Each event activity that happened must have a its own Unique Identifier Code)

    • Stage 2: import stories that contain information about people’s attendance at those eventsactivities. (The row for each person’s attendance must contain the same Unique Identifier Code that corresponds to that activity)

  • When you import information about activities, it is saved in Makerble as a story

  • This is different to

...

  • when you use Makerble Events which allows you to create individual events that can have guests, waiting lists, messaging features, automations, workers assigned and more

  • In both scenarios you can track attendance but you have more flexibility when you use the dedicated Events app, compared to importing activities as stories.
