  • By default the survey is sent in Identifiable Mode which means that you and your colleagues can see the name of the contact to whom each survey response belongs.

  • (This is in contrast to Anonymised Mode which would hide the name of the respondent when you and colleagues analyse the results)

Steps

  1. Go to the Survey Campaign page of this survey on your project

  2. Select Send personalised survey links via email

  3. You arrive on the Send Survey To Contacts page

  4. Select a Wave: If Waves have been enabled on your Survey Campaign, you can optionally choose which Wave to associate this sending of the survey with. If Waves have not been enabled for this Survey Campaign, you will not see the Select a Waves option.

  5. Set Expiry: by default the survey links generated from this page will expire once the contact has responded to the survey. However you can change the setting to “Remain active” if you want the contact to be able to post several responses to the survey over time without you needing to send them a new link

  6. Leave the Responses are anonymised tick box unchecked.

  7. Send all unique survey links manually: Leave this unticked.

  8. Add the survey recipients: this box lists the contacts within your project:

    1. Use the Select existing contacts box (Purple arrow) to select each contact whom you want to invite to complete an anonymised survey.

      1. By default, the list of contacts is filtered to only the contacts who are currently Enrolled on the project. To select contacts who are on the Waiting List, Alumni List or Declined List of your project, press the Filter Contacts button to filter the contacts listed accordingly.

        2. Open the filters you want to use and set your criteria

        4. The list of contacts will update accordingly

        5. Click outside the Filter Contacts Overlay to close it

      2. When you select a Contact who does not have an email address, you will be prompted to enter an email address for that contact.

      3. If you do not have an email address for that person, you can tick Send the survey link manually tick box that appears within the popup. This means that you will need to send this person their survey link manually.

    2. The contacts whom you have selected will appear in the Survey distribution list (Blue arrow)

  9. Add survey recipients: If there are people whom you want to send the survey to, but they do not yet exist on Makerble as contacts, you can enter their Email Addresses in this box. Makerble will automatically generate a new Contact Profile Page for each email address.

  10. Add an additional message: By default the message that contacts receive will simply refer to their Unique Survey Link. Add an additional message that goes above this default message.

  11. Add Reminders

    1. you can add multiple reminder messages

    2. choose how many days after the Original Message being sent that the reminders should be sent

    3. Press the Add Another Reminder button to add more reminders

  12. Press Send Surveys

  13. If there are one or more contacts for whom you did not have an email address and instead selected to send their links manually, after pressing Send Surveys, you will arrive on the Unique Survey Links page for this Survey Campaign

    1. On this page you can copy the unique survey link for each contact and send it to them manually

  14. If on the other hand there were no contacts for whom you needed to send the survey link manually,, after pressing Send you arrive on the Survey Analytics page. Press The Makerble Logo in the top menu to return to your Homepage.
