You can create an event if you have been given permission to within your project.

Steps

If you cannot see the Event option in your Create dropdown menu, follow these additional steps:

  1. Select Create in the top menu

  2. Select Event (If you do not find events option for event refer the blue box above)

  3. Select the Project that the event belongs to (this option will be skipped if you only have access to one event)

  4. Select the Event Category to use to create the event (this option will be skipped if your project only has one event category assigned to it)

  5. The rest of the form loads

  6. Add the basic event fields:

    1. Event name

    2. Start date and time

    3. End date and time

    4. Event Managers

    5. Event Workers

    6. Event Capacity

    Press save
  7. The Add more fields to this form? option is displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

    1. Clicking on it will redirect you to the Manage Event Category page, where you can edit the event category that you intend to use when creating a new event.

  8. Once you are done entering all the necessary fields, press Save.

  9. You arrive on the Event’s page

The Add more fields to this form? option will be displayed only if the user is a Charity Admin.
