You can segment data using Split BySplit By lets you segment results to Multiple Choice Questions (and Progress Trackers) by single (or combinations of) demographic List fields used in your Contact Forms.

Steps

1. Access a Board

2. Launch Go to the Progress Board that contains the Tracker or Survey Question you want to analyse

3. Select the title of the Tracker or Survey Question to launch the Card Popup

4. In the Distribution over Time box: Change the period in the x-axis from Months to Years or another time period

5. Press the Split By button

6. A popup appears that displays the List fields used in your Contact Forms

7. Select one or more Characteristics that use List fields by ticking the checkbox

8. Press Apply

9. The chart updates to display:

   1. A set of columns for each period in which the survey was completed

      1. Each column relates to one of the Split By segments that is generated by the List fields you selected in the Split By popup

   2. Within each column, there is a stack of Answer Choices from the Multiple Choice Survey Question

      1. Each Answer Choice is assigned a colour as is shown in the Key below the chart

10. Switch to Table mode to see the dataset that generates the chart

    2. View the table in full screen
