Info

You need to have a project before you can create an Participating Contact (Active Beneficiary)

Participating Contacts are contacts that you add to a Managed Progress Board so that they can

  • Post Updates

  • See their own Progress

  • Discover, discuss and share Tips

  • Have a sense of community with other Participating Contacts whom you have added to the board

When you turn a Contact into a Participating Contact, you are allowing that Contact to login to Makerble and access the Managed Progress Board. You will therefore need to provide an email address for each Contact whom you want to turn into a Participating Contact, as they will need an email address and password in order to login.

Getting Started with Participating Contacts

  • Create a Contact

  • Create a Managed Progress Board

  • Add Contacts to a Managed Progress Board

  4. Create a Managed PRogress Board

    1. Add your project to the board

    2. Add the goals and sub goals to the project

    3. Add the contacts you created to the project (you will need to set an Email Address for each contact)

    4. Press Publish

  5. When you do this, the system will turn the beneficiary into an Active Beneficiary. This means that the

    1. email address you added for that beneficiary will now receive an email giving them their own login details for Makerble. I.e., Makerble will create a User Account for that person.

    2. when that person signs in, they will be taken directly to the Progress Board that you added them to

    3. and on the Progress Board they will see all the Goal Cards that relate to the projects they are part of

    4. And they can use the Quick Update button to create a story but whenever they create a story, it is ONLY about their beneficiary record.
