Why use Lenses?

  • It’s easy to miss the patterns that are hidden in your results

  • Lenses show you the diversity within your results. Now you can notice how responses vary by gender, age, location or other key demographics.

  • Makerble generates split bar charts every time you use a Lens. Download your charts for use in reports and presentations.

  • Lenses give you actionable insights with which you can tailor strategies for specific demographics rather than seeing results in a homogenous sense that apply equally to everyone.

How it works

Info

Each of your Dropdowns that are used in a Contact Forms will be available as a Lens. You just need to make sure that the Contact Form has been added to the project(s) whose results are on your Progress Board.

...

  1. For example:

    1. if you have a field called gender in your contact form and you want to know how the various genders have responded to the questions in the survey, you can split the chart using the gender field in the Split By tab present on the right side of the page.

    2. This will split the options in the chart based on all the genders and tell you which genders have selected which options in the survey.
