  1. Create a contact by the name of Sam in the project A Training Project.

  2. Navigate to the Create Automation page and choose the project A Training Project.

  3. Set the Automation Criteria as Name equals exactly to Sam.
    Make sure that you select the Name field listed under the contact form that you have used to create the contact, Sam.

  4. Set the Automation Action as In-app Alerts by clicking on the Turn on In-App Alerts checkbox.

  5. Select the user who should receive the alert.

  6. Add in the Message for the alert and a statement indicating the action to be taken by the user who receives the alert.

  7. Turning on the Escalation option is not required as this is only to alert more senior staff if the Alert is not resolved within a specific timeframe.Once it is created, wait

  8. Great job you have now created your first automation 👏

  9. Wait for the Automation to be activated.

  10. When the Automation is activated, you’ll notice the following

    1. On the Logs page, the contact Sam will be tagged.

    2. On the Sam’s Profile page, the Alert’s Section will be visible on the right-hand side.

    3. On the Header, the Alert icon
