  1. Turn on Signposting from your Organisation Preferences page

  2. Tick the checkbox to enable Signposting and press Save

  3. The next time you go to a Contact’s Profile Page, you will see the Signpost button

  4. Press it

  5. A popup appears that lets you add the details of the person or organisation that you signposted this contact to

  6. Once you have selected them, press the Close button

  7. Details of the Signpost now appear on the signposted contact’s Profile page

  8. Corresponding details are also displayed on the contact profile page of the organisation and/or person that your contact was signposted to

  9. When you return to the Contacts App and go to the Productivity tab, you will see additional charts displayed that relate to Signposting. They show the number of

    1. Signpost Organisations you signposted to

    2. Signpost Individuals you signposted to

    3. Signpost Organisations + Signpost Individuals that you signposted to

To log signposts made to Signpost Organisations, you must have Contact Forms associated with the ‘Organisation’ Contact Type
